japan » day 09 » deers in nara park

First (and only) day in Nara was busy: we wanted to check the biggest Buddha statue in Japan which is located in Nara Park. I am sure that this park is very famous because of the plants, the trees, the infinite number of temples, the nice green grass but the real tourist-magnet thing here is something else: the DEERS! The infinite number of Sika Deers which are free to walk in the whole park. They are everywhere, they are young and old, male and female, hungry and not hungry. Wait, all of them are hungry! And they are not afraid to tell you: coming close, checking your pockets, your hands, your bags and all the time bending their heads, exactly what one could expect from a well behaving Japanese. You can also buy special deer cookies for 150 yen. If you do that, run for your life!

Expect some supercute videos!
